When using a indexer or controller that uses Extended X-Language in conjunction with an RP240, the STOP button can be activated or de-activated by using the DSTP command. The PAUSE and CONTINUE buttons can also be enabled or disabled by using the DCNT command.

When using 6K language products, a user can disable or enable the STOP button on the front panel of the RP240 via the DSTP command.
